Getting around Byron Bay is as simple as can be, and even if you're geographically challenged and can't tell your North from South, you'll still do fine. The town's small enough that if you're staying downtown you'll be able to many of the places you want to go. However, if you'd like to move a little faster than your own two feet can manage, you can hire a bike, or hop on to one of the local buses. These run regularly, and will take you just about everywhere you want to go. Other options for getting around include roller blading, using a scooter (motorised or otherwise) or even hiring a horse or pony for a trail ride.
If you're feeling a touch lazy, or you'd like to venture beyond the immediate surrounds of Byron Bay, rest assured that there are other options available to you. Private shuttle buses can take you to where you need to go, and alternatively you can book a taxi, a swanky limo, or an airport transfer vehicle to ensure that you get to where you need to go before your flight leaves. If you're a newlywed, you can also arrange a wedding vehicle to drive you and your bridal party around.
For those who like to be in control of their transport, hire cars are another option, but it's worth making sure that you obey the local parking laws—new meters have been recently installed in Byron Bay.
